HORSE RUGS

Made in our own workshop to the highest standard, our wool show rug is one of the best British made rugs available.

Using only 2.3lb pure new wool, our standard rug is single bound with double thickness reinforced neck and front, Havanna leatherwork, handstitched, with solid brass crown buckles.

They are deeper than most wool rugs with an average drop of 40”/41” as standard although they can be made extra deep if required. Additional extras include contrasting piping, a selection of gold or silver braids, matching surcingle, surcingle pad. American hip ornament, and tail guard.

Colours: Black, Grey, Navy, Royal Blue, Cambridge Blue, Bottle Green, Burgundy, Red, Purple.

3 in 1 Polar Fleece Rugs

Made from top class genuine polar fleece, this is one of our most popular rugs, being both beautiful and versatile. Absorbing only 1% of its own weight in moisture the wicking properties of this rug makes it a perfect cooler, keeping the horse dry and comfortable without overheating.

It also makes an ideal lightweight Summer show rug to compliment our pure wool rug, or can be used under existing stable rugs to add warmth and comfort. This rug has an added bonus of being machine washable.

Mesh, 100% cotton mesh fabric with re-inforced neck and chrome buckle makes an ideal cooler after work.

Machine washable, simply reshape when damp. Also available as a square fly sheet designed to hang from the pole giving all body protection when at Shows.

Made from 9 oz poly/cotton for non-crease washability, our summer sheets are made to the same high standard as our rugs, in matching colours, with re-inforced neck and chrome buckle.

Available with cross-over surcingle or belly strap.

Made from tough rip-stop cordura the rug features a half lined polycotton front to prevent chaffing. Chrome buckle extra.

Making pressure across your horses spine a thing of the past, the Newbury Exercise Sheet has a shaped cut-out for the saddle and rider, incorporating a velcro fastening over wither for safe and easy putting-on and removal. The exercise sheet is placed under the saddle flap, or can even be worn over the riders legs in comfort and safety. Can be made in pure wool, cotton-lined nylon, or fleece-lined nylon.

Made from heavyweight proofed nylon, and fully lined in cotton, the Rain Sheet is shaped to fit right up to the ears for complete cover, with a choice of ties or velcro fastening under the neck. Also available as a waterproof rug if preferred.
